Weight and Research experience
Transportation experience
Knowledge of National Motor Freight Class
Knowledge of AS400
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to self-motivate and self-manage
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to function under pressure and work in a busy fast paced environment
High School graduate or equivalent
Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:
It is the responsibility of the Weight and Research Inspector to review shipments that move across the assigned terminals dock to ensure shipments are properly classified and reflect accurate weight.
Physically inspect suspect shipments for erroneous weights and commodity descriptions.
Research and determine the appropriate class and enter it into the AS400.
4:00 PM start time
