Facilities Engineer Overview
The Facilities Engineer II will have primary responsibility to establish and maintain facilities engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet Boston Scientific, customer, quality and regulatory requirements. Responsible for providing engineering support for the planning and execution of facility:related projects including quality improvement programs, cost reduction programs, procurement and qualification of facility systems/ equipment.
Key Responsibilities
:
Identify and implement effective commissioning and validation of facilities equipment and clean rooms. In addition supports the development, qualification, and on:going quality support of Boston Scientific facilities to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.

Provides technical guidance for identifying and resolving quality issues.
:
Drive and own Lean deployment priorities within the Facilities, Environmental, Health, and Safety organization and sustain continuous improvement for Quality, Service, and Cost. Instrumental in long term facilities planning initiatives.
:
Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of facility infrastructure for manufacturing, labs, and office environments; i.e. purified water systems, compressed gases, clean room ventilation, air handling units, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, electrical power, and emergency power. Support procurement and management of facility maintenance and utility contracts.
Qualifications
:
This position requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering and 2:5 years of related experience.
:
Quality experience with medical device company preferred.
:
Strong leader with effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive cross:functional initiatives with limited supervision.
:
Ability sound, systematic problem:solving methodologies to identify prioritizes, create process improvement roadmaps and resolve complex engineering and quality issues.
:
Ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects concurrently.
:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
